We are delighted to be able to offer orthodontic treatment/ teeth straightening at Regency Dental with Dr Kelly Toft.

Kelly is able to offer several different methods of straightening teeth that maybe overcrowded, rotated or assist with those unwanted gaps. Orthodontic treatment also enables you to keep the mouth healthier as overcrowded teeth are more difficult to keep clean.Kelly will be able to advise the most suitable and effective system of teeth straightening for you at your consultation.
INMAN ALIGNER
The Inman Aligner teeth straightening treatment is truly revolutionary. The Inman Aligner provides patients who choose not to have traditional braces applied to their teeth the opportunity for fast and effective dental realignment treatment.
How the Inman Aligner works:
The Inman Aligner uses a coil spring that applies pressure to the teeth which need to be repositioned. It is countered by a thin plastic bar which runs across the front of the teeth and this creates a squeezing effect on the designated teeth. The pressure, however, is extremely gentle, making it the main reason why it works so effectively. This low pressure can in-fact reduce the natural resistance of the tooth to movement, which actually assists in the straightening and repositioning of the teeth.
Although the time required can vary slightly users can expect to wear the device around sixteen to twenty hours per day for maximum benefit.
How long does it take?
Depending on the extent of teeth straightening required, the treatment can usually be completed between six to sixteen weeks. Dr Kelly Toft will be able to advise on your personal case and expectations at your consultation.
